The Suns House

We are currently in the research stages of this project:Tuning in with the energies on the land and beginning the early stages of drawings and material studies.

The Sun’s House will become the core of the land of Altan Tepe; a sacred, spiritual space whose beauty transcends all borders and barriers. To provide a vessel for inner calm and contemplation. It is an altar at which to make offerings; a place for healing and returning to one’s self.

In time, when we will build and construct this space the structure will be composed following the principles of sacred geometry, using locally sourced materials, traditional craftsmanship and artistry. It will evoke the holistic sustainability that is central to all the work we do at Altan Tepe, and it will serve all those who pass through it.

Creating the space

We have journeyed to many sacred places throughout the world visiting Temples, churches and ancient sites and on these journeys have made extensive studies of the form of these places. Researching the geometry, placement with the earth and solar energies. From these enquiries and philosophies The House of the Sun will be seeded.
