Stay with us at Altan Tepe. We invite you to journey into our nest near Alpedrinha, rural Portugal; a place of refuge, nourishment, nurture and dreaming, surrounded by golden hills.

Here, we attune our ear once more to the sounds of the land, moving with the earth and her elements. We rise with the sun and rest with the moon, living by candlelight.

We collect water from the mountain and bathe in the natural springs. We ease into the quiet, and reconnect with ourselves, with one another, and with the wider web of all living things.

The land is a place for offerings, for teaching for tending and for experiences that restore the wilds lands of the heart. It is a place to contact the royal beauty of the elemental.

For the cycle of 2023 - 2025 we will host a series of explorative artist residencies and land tending camps. Sharing moments of harvest and creativity amongst the wild raw edges, many fruits, olives, rocks, and waters.

As the stories of the Land grow, we will build permanent structures for guests to retreat into alongside our vision to create The House of the Sun.
